A Musical Evening of Giving
This non-profit virtual music event benefitting Overcoming Odds and The Weiss Scholarship Foundation, is a WRAP! We thank each and every person who was involved in this event including Oleg Lougheed, Brett Weiss, every sponsor, every artist, every person who purchased tickets, and all those who shared the joy so that more could learn about the event!
A Musical Evening of Giving, Hosted by The Breakthrough Show Network, was a non-profit virtual music event that benefitted Overcoming Odds and The Weiss Scholarship Foundation, on December 4, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Central Standard Time. Early Bird Tickets went on sale August 2, 2021 with General Admission on sale September 1, 2021. The recording of the event will be on sale January 1st, 2022 through December 31, 2022 with 100% of the ticket proceeds being donated to the same organizations. Read our event press release here:
Event Beneficiaries
We are thrilled to partner with Overcoming Odds and The Weiss Scholarship Foundation for A Musical Evening of Giving.
In the United States, and around the globe, Overcoming Odds is creating the space for community and belonging by implementing their RDNA Strategy: Resilience – Discovery – Network – Authenticity. Oleg Lougheed and his foundation achieve this through global and in-person events, story-telling and educating through audio and video platforms, and creating stages for YOU to share your knowledge, expertise, and stories.
In Dago, a small village in Kenya, Africa, Brett Weiss and the Weiss Scholarship Foundation, have dedicated their mission to helping children receive an education. Though this mission, not only are the lives of these children changed, but the lives of their families, their community, and the world! The Weiss Scholarship foundation aligns themselves with the UN Sustainable Development Goals: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Reduced Inequalities.

FAQ
The concert is 100% online on December 4th, 2021 from 4pm to approximately 7pm Central Time.
Our two benefiting organizations are Overcoming Odds and the Weiss Scholarship Foundation. Both of these organizations are non-profits. 100% of the ticket cost paid by attendees is being split evenly between the two organizations. The amount of money donated depends solely on the number of tickets sold.
The Breakthrough Show Network is using 100% of sponsorship funds toward advertising for and implementation of the event.
A digital recording of the concert is included with the purchase of a VIP or Platinum VIP ticket only. General Admission ticket holders and all other persons interested in a recording will have the opportunity to purchase one ala carte at a later date.
Each general admission ticket earns 1 ticket, VIP earns 2 tickets, and platinum VIP earns 3 tickets into the giveaway. In addition, a link will be provided to purchase additional tickets during the live event. Prizes will be drawn during the VIP After Party and announced via email to all attendees on December 5, 2021.
